Emma started her banking career in 1986. She was a teller at a Savings and Loan in a retirement community in Southern California. Clients came to the branch as much for the coffee, cookies and friendship as they did to take care of their banking needs. Emma loved learning and working in banking operations – and she loved her clients.

In 1991 Emma re-located to Bend, Oregon, moving over the mountains in 1994 to the Portland area.

After working in a few more teller and operational roles, Emma had the chance, in 2000, to begin learning the Treasury Management side of banking, both sales and operations. She hasn’t looked back.

Emma joined The Commerce Bank of Oregon in September of 2018 as their Treasury Management Operations Specialist. Emma is thrilled to be part of a bank, and a team, that is small and strong, and whose focus is on being exceptional.

Emma lives in Tigard with her husband. They have two grown daughters - one lives in Washington, the other in Alaska. Emma loves to eat out, work out and is a casual sports enthusiast. A summer camping trip, a fall weekend at the Oregon Coast and occasional trips to see the kids provide nice changes of scenery, but it’s always nice to come back home to Portland.
