If you want to talk about world travel, literature, or the ancient art of The Japanese Tea Ceremony, you might not expect to have that conversation with the President & CEO of your bank. You might also not expect to call or email your bank’s President & CEO and actually hear back from them directly. But that’s what makes Jodi Delahunt Hubbell uniquely awesome; she’s approachable, humble, and genuinely cares that the bank’s Clients feel valued.
Jodi has over 25 years of varied banking experience, including extensive work throughout the branch, corporate, small business and commercial lending and finance functions of banking. She received the BBA from The University of Portland.
In 2007, Jodi became part of the team at The Commerce Bank of Oregon as Chief Financial and Operating Officer. In January 2012, she was promoted to President & CEO, where she now focuses her vision on promoting a team culture that results in an exceptional client experience and growing the bank. In Jodi’s words: “Oliver W. Holmes said ‘it’s not so much where you’ve been but what direction you’re going.’ As captain of this ship, I strive every day to keep us going in the right direction, with as few distractions as possible.”
Jodi is a 2013 winner of the Portland Business Journal’s Women of Influence Orchid award and was a speaker for the 2013 University of Portland, Pamplin School of Business Leadership Speaker Series. She is a board member at the Regional Arts & Culture Council; a member of the 2013 Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Campaign, a member of the OMSI Development Committee and is an active member of the University Club.
